Five people were evaluated for injuries following a five-vehicle collision in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported shortly after 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and East Washington Boulevard.
Video from the scene showed a white pickup truck with severe front-end damage in the intersection. Four other vehicles, including a Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles courtesy vehicle, sustained damage and came to rest along East Washington Boulevard.
The pickup truck also stopped on railroad tracks along East Washington Boulevard. Fire officials said train operations were not affected.
Five people were evaluated for injuries at the scene. Authorities did not immediately confirm how many required transportation to a hospital or the extent of their injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
