According to authorities, Newport Beach police and firefighters were called to the 7700 block of East Pacific Coast Highway around 7:00 p.m., where an Aston Martin DBS reportedly lost control and collided with a red SUV near the Crystal Cove Shake Shack.

Witnesses reported that the driver stumbled during a sobriety test, leading to his arrest on suspicion of DUI. The injured woman was transported to a hospital for treatment, though her condition remains unknown.
