[10-05-2026] Kern County, CA – Two Semi-Trucks Involved in Crash on I-5 Near Lebec

Two semi-trucks were involved in a collision on Interstate 5 near Lebec in Kern County early Monday morning, October 5, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 5:21 a.m. on the southbound I-5 near Lebec Service Road.

CHP Fort Tejon said the number three and four lanes were closed while crews conducted cleanup operations at the scene.

Authorities advised motorists to expect delays while traveling through the area.
