[10-05-2026] Fresno County, CA – Five Taken To Hospital After Two-Vehicle Crash Near Easton

Five people sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision near Easton in Fresno County on Monday afternoon, October 5, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded shortly after 5:00 p.m. to the intersection of Lincoln and Fruit avenues.

CHP said one of the vehicles ran a stop sign from an unknown direction and collided with the other vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle that ran the stop sign was partially pinned inside and had to be extricated.

Five people complained of pain and were transported to a hospital for treatment. CHP said no major injuries were reported.

The investigation remains ongoing.
