[10-05-2024] One Killed, Two Injured After Single-Vehicle Crash on I-10 in CoachellaOne person was killed, and two others sustained injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Coachella on Saturday afternoon, October 5, 2024.

The Riverside County Fire Department reported that the crash occurred at approximately 12:25 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10, just east of the Dillon Road off-ramp. 

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. A third individual with minor injuries was transported by ground ambulance for treatment.

The California Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
