[10-03-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – 51-Year-Old Man Killed After SUV Strikes Parked Vehicle in Malibu.webpA 51-year-old man, identified as Ryo U., was killed after an SUV driven by a 16-year-old boy struck his parked vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Saturday morning, October 3, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at around 7:00 a.m. in the 22600 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner determined that the victim died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the collision.

Surveillance footage reportedly showed a dark-colored SUV strike the vehicle the victim was in, pushing it into another parked vehicle. Reports indicated that the teenage driver was traveling at least 50 mph before crossing the fog line and striking the parked vehicle.

The 16-year-old driver survived the crash. Authorities said he did not appear to have been driving under the influence.

It remains unclear what caused the driver to leave the roadway. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
