[10-01-2026] San Diego County, CA – At Least One Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash Near East Mission Rd.

At least one person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision near East Mission Road and Fallen Leaf Lane in San Diego County, late Thursday night, October 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 11:29 p.m. Initial reports indicated that two vehicles were blocking the roadway, and one had overturned onto its roof.

San Diego County sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and requested additional units for traffic control.

North County Fire Protection District personnel transported one patient to Palomar Medical Center. The extent of the patient’s injuries was not immediately available.

The collision remains under investigation.
