[10-01-2026] Orange County, CA – At Least One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in San Juan Capistrano.webpAt least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, on Thursday afternoon, October 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 2:09 p.m. on the southbound I-5 near Junipero Serra Road. 

CHP said a white Ford Fusion and a dark gray Mazda CX-9 were involved in the collision.

At least one person suffered injuries in the crash. The extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately available.

Authorities did not immediately release additional information about what led to the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
