[09-29-2025] Chevrolet Silverado Collides with Semi-Truck Trailer on State Route 138 in Cajon PassA Chevrolet Silverado collided with the trailer of a semi-truck on State Route 138 in the Cajon Pass, San Bernardino County, on Monday night, September 29, 2025, temporarily blocking all lanes of traffic.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:19 p.m. just east of the Interstate 15 freeway. 

Preliminary information indicated that the Silverado struck the trailer of a Western Express semi-truck, which was reportedly attempting a U-turn at the time. The collision left the Silverado lodged into the trailer, causing major front-end damage to the pickup.

No major injuries were reported, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation by the CHP Inland Division.
