[09-29-2024] Female Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle in VictorvilleA female pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Victorville on Sunday night, September 29, 2024.

At approximately 7:13 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station, along with rescue personnel from the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response, responded to the scene of the crash at the intersection of La Mesa Road and Evelyn Court.

Upon arrival, deputies found that a blue Kia Optima had collided with an unidentified female pedestrian. She sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the Kia Optima remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team has taken over the investigation.
