[09-29-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Woman Died After Hit-And-Run Collision in Vermont Knolls

A pedestrian woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision in Vermont Knolls, Los Angeles County on late Friday night, September 29, 2023.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the crash  at approximately 12:09 a.m. on South Normandie Avenue and West 83rd Place.

Initial investigations revealed that the vehicle traveling south on Normandie struck the woman in her 30s and drove away.

The Los Angeles Fire Department medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene. There was no information available about the vehicle.
