[09-28-2026] Fresno County, CA – Two Killed, One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash West of Easton

Two people were killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision west of Easton in Fresno County on Monday morning, September 28, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers received a report of the crash at around 7:50 a.m. on Lincoln Avenue between Cornelia and Blythe avenues.

CHP said a Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Lincoln Avenue when a Honda Civic traveling behind it rear-ended the Nissan. Both vehicles spun off the roadway near an orchard.

The driver and a passenger in the Nissan were killed in the collision. Their identities were not immediately released.

The Honda driver suffered minor to moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital. CHP said all three people involved were wearing seatbelts.

Authorities said the vehicles were traveling at unknown speeds, and the reason the Honda struck the Nissan had not been determined. Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be factors in the crash.

CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
