A woman was fatally struck by at least one vehicle on the Ronald Packard (78) Parkway in Vista early Saturday morning, September 28, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 5:05 a.m. on the westbound highway at South Emerald Drive.
The woman, described as wearing a blue shirt and jeans, was reportedly seen walking into the lanes of traffic before the crash.
Authorities have not released further details as the investigation remains ongoing.
