[09-27-2026] Stanislaus County, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Ceres.webpA 61-year-old Turlock man suffered major injuries in a hit-and-run collision on southbound Highway 99 in Ceres, Stanislaus County, on Sunday morning, September 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 10:50 a.m. on southbound Highway 99 north of Service Road.

CHP said the motorcyclist was traveling at approximately 70 mph when an SUV struck the motorcycle from behind, ejecting the rider.

The motorcyclist suffered major injuries, including a severe leg injury, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The SUV driver fled the scene following the collision. Authorities had not immediately released a description of the vehicle or identified the driver.

CHP continues to investigate the hit-and-run crash.
