A 71-year-old man was hospitalized with minor injuries after his vehicle collided with a Ford on Highway 32 in Glenn County on Friday morning, September 26, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5:52 a.m. Rogelio R., 53, of Willows, was driving a 2019 Ford eastbound and slowed to turn left into 7790 Highway 32.
Rafael H., 71, of Orland, driving a 2000 Honda eastbound at approximately 55 mph, failed to see that the Ford had stopped and collided with its rear.
After the impact, Rafael’s Honda lost control and came to rest partially in the eastbound lane near County Road VV. Rafael was taken to Enloe Health in Chico for treatment of minor injuries, while Rogelio was uninjured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and the airbags in the Honda did not deploy.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
