[09-25-2024] School Bus Driver and Student Injured After Vehicle Strikes Bus in GaltA bus driver and a student were hospitalized after a crash involving a bus and another vehicle in Galt on Wednesday morning, September 25, 2024.

According to the authorities, the crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. on Twin Cities Road. The bus, used by the Galt Joint Union High School District, had community students onboard at the time of the incident. 

No major injuries were reported, but the bus driver and one student were transported to a nearby hospital. Another bus was arranged to transport the students to school after the scene was cleared.

The cause of the crash remains unclear, and no additional injuries have been reported at this time.
