A 41-year-old San Bernardino resident died after being hit by a vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga on Monday morning, September 25, 2023.
According to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 7:37 a.m. on Etiwanda Avenue and Napa Street.
Upon arrival, they found the victim lying lifeless on the west dirt shoulder of Etiwanda Avenue, north of Sixth Street, and south of Napa Street.
Upon investigation, deputies determined that the male victim was hit by a vehicle while walking north on Etiwanda Avenue from Sixth Street, possibly between the evening of Sunday and the early morning of Monday.
The Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station’s Major Accident Investigation Team investigated the traffic accident and only identified the victim as a 41-year-old resident from San Bernardino.
The authorities are investigating an incident and urging anyone with information to come forward.
