A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Vacaville, Solano County, on Tuesday morning, September 24, 2024.
The Vacaville Police Department reported the collision at around 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of East Monte Vista Avenue and Scoggins Court.
Police stated that the pedestrian sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated with investigating officers.
The crash is still under investigation, and the identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
