[09-23-2023] Ventura County, CA – Four People Hospitalized Following Two-Vehicle Collision in Oxnard

Four people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Oxnard late Saturday morning, September 23, 2023.

According to the Oxnard Fire Department, the collision happened around 11:45 a.m. near the junction with East Iris Street, north of Santa Clara High School.

A dark-colored Ford Mustang was heading southbound on Saviers when another vehicle made a left turn and collided with the car.

Three people had to be extricated from both vehicles. One person suffered moderate injuries, while three people sustained minor injuries.

Two of the victims were transported to Ventura County Medical Center, while the remaining two were taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center. Reports say that three of the patients had no serious injuries, while one may have sustained a broken bone.

The authorities haven’t made any arrests but have not released further information about the collision.
