[09-22-2026] Kern County, CA – One Taken To Hospital After Four-Vehicle Crash in Ridgecrest

One person was transported to a hospital after a four-vehicle collision at China Lake Boulevard and French Avenue in Ridgecrest, Kern County, on Tuesday evening, September 22, 2026.

The crash was reported at around 6:18 p.m. and involved a Subaru Outback, a Toyota Corolla, a Jeep Cherokee, and a Toyota Venza.

Initial information indicated that the northbound Subaru struck the Toyota Corolla from behind, causing the Corolla to collide with the Jeep and Toyota Venza. The Subaru then veered to the right and came to rest on French Avenue.

The Corolla driver was transported by ambulance to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital with complaints of pain. The Subaru driver declined medical transport, while the occupants of the Jeep and Venza were reported to be uninjured.

The investigation remains ongoing.
