[09-22-2024] Pedestrian Killed After Collision with Vehicle on Rosamond BoulevardA pedestrian was fatally injured after being struck by a car in Rosamond, Kern County, on early Sunday morning, September 22, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers received reports of the collision around 3:31 a.m. 

The incident occurred when a Lancaster woman was driving a 2018 Ford Fusion eastbound on Rosamond Boulevard, east of 50th Street West, and collided with an adult pedestrian who was walking in the eastbound lane.

Emergency medical personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The driver remained at the location and cooperated with investigators. CHP determined that she was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident.
