One person died after a collision involving a semi-truck and a Lexus on the 60 Freeway in San Bernardino County on Monday morning, September 21, 2026.

According to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 6:36 a.m. on the westbound 60 Freeway, west of Central Avenue.

CHP logs indicated that the semi-truck drove up an embankment and collided with the Lexus.

One of the drivers was transported to a hospital, where they later died. It was not immediately clear whether the person who died had been driving the semi-truck or the Lexus.
