[09-21-2023] Tuolumne County, CA – Five People Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision in East Sonora

Five unidentified people were injured after a two-vehicle collision in East Sonora, Tuolumne County, as reported on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. in front of the Tractor Supply Store on Mono Way, close to Peaceful Valley Road.

Five victims with minor injuries were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Authorities reported that two children were among the victims.

The collision involved a Kia Sedona and a Toyota Venza, which temporarily blocked the road. Officers redirected vehicles in both directions to use alternate routes.

Investigations are ongoing regarding the cause of the incident, and no further details have been released.
