[09-21-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Pedestrians Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Sylmar

Two pedestrians were fatally struck by a vehicle in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Thursday evening, September 21, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 7:55 p.m. between Astoria Street and Foothill Boulevard.

A 40-year-old man and a woman in a wheelchair were hit by a 35-year-old driver heading eastbound.

The male victim was declared dead at the scene, while the other victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where she succumbed to her injuries.
