[09-18-2026] Ventura County, CA – Bicyclist Suffers Significant Injuries After Crash Involving Vehicle on Telegraph Rd.

A bicyclist suffered significant injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Telegraph Road in east Ventura on Friday afternoon, September 18, 2026.

According to the Ventura Police Department, officers responded to the collision at around 1:14 p.m. on Telegraph Road, west of Saticoy Road.

Police Cmdr. Trenner Marchetti said a 61-year-old Santa Paula woman was driving on Telegraph Road when her vehicle collided with the bicyclist.

The cyclist sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said drugs or alcohol are not believed to have been factors in the collision. Authorities had not determined whether speed played a role.
