[09-18-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Dump Truck in Irwindale

One person was killed, and two others were taken to a hospital after a four-vehicle collision involving a dump truck in Irwindale on Friday, September 18, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, crews responded at around 11:49 a.m. to East Arrow Highway and Avenida Barbosa. One of the vehicles reportedly caught fire following the crash.

Despite life-saving efforts, one driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Irwindale police. Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of family members.

Fire officials said two people had to be extricated from their vehicles. Two people were transported to a local hospital, but authorities did not release their ages, genders, or conditions.

The crash remains under investigation.
