[09-18-2023] Alameda County, CA – At Least One Person Injured After Multi-Vehicle Collision in Fremont

At least one person suffered minor injuries following a multi-vehicle collision in Fremont on Monday morning, September 18, 2023.

According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, officers received the initial report at around 10:49 a.m. of the crash near the West Warren Avenue on-ramp on the southbound lanes of Interstate 880.

Authorities stated that three vehicles were involved, including a red Mazda and a Tesla. The red Mazda sustained visible damage, and the crash’s impact scattered debris across the affected lanes.

Upon CHP’s arrival, some of the individuals involved were still inside their vehicles. Officers immediately contacted Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the incident was classified as a minor injury collision. It’s unclear how many were injured.

No further details were released regarding what caused the crash, including the identities of those involved. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
