A 22-year-old man died after a head-on collision near Lindsay, Tulare County, on Monday afternoon, September 16, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, crews responded to the crash on Road 188 north of Avenue 232 around 2:30 p.m.
A 22-year-old man from Tulare was traveling northbound when he veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming flatbed truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while the flatbed truck driver was unharmed.
Authorities stated that both drivers had been wearing seatbelts. The victim’s identity was not released until the next of kin/family was notified.
Authorities are still conducting their investigation.
