The hit-and-run incident reportedly occurred at the intersection of Shasta Dam Boulevard and Cascade Boulevard, involving a dark grey Ford F250.
The victim, identified as Mason D., was getting a drink and on the way to the store when he was struck by the vehicle.
According to the victim, the driver waved before leaving the scene. The man expressed his disappointment that the driver did not stop to check on his well-being. He went to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
