[09-15-2023] Tragic Head-On Collision Claims Two Teen Lives, Leaves Three Hospitalized in KingsburgTwo teenagers died, and three individuals were injured and hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Southwest Kingsburg on Friday evening, September 15, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Highway 43, north of Davis Avenue, in the rural southwest area.

The CHP reported a Toyota Camry traveling southward veered across the center line in an attempt to pass traffic but tragically collided head-on with a Range Rover heading northbound.

Regrettably, the 18-year-old driver and 15-year-old passenger of the Camry succumbed to their injuries at the crash site. A second passenger in the Camry and the two occupants of the Range Rover were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The Range Rover’s driver, a 57-year-old man, suffered severe injuries in the collision.

Authorities have indicated suspicion of marijuana usage by the two teenagers involved in the accident.
