[09-14-2026] Tehama County, CA – 72-Year-Old Woman Killed After Being Struck By Semi-Truck in Red Bluff.webpA 72-year-old woman died after being struck by a semi-truck while crossing a street in Red Bluff, Tehama County, on Monday afternoon, September 14, 2026.

According to the Red Bluff Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 4:30 p.m. at 445 Antelope Boulevard.

Police said the semi-truck was traveling eastbound on Antelope Boulevard when the woman attempted to cross the street in front of the vehicle for unknown reasons. The truck driver applied the brakes and attempted to stop, but struck the pedestrian.

Emergency personnel provided life-saving measures at the scene before transporting the woman to a local hospital. She later died from her injuries.

Police said alcohol, drugs, and speed did not appear to be factors in the collision. No additional details were immediately released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
