[09-13-2023] San Diego County, CA – One Person Fatally Struck by Amtrak Train in Harborview

One person was fatally struck by an Amtrak train in Harborview, downtown San Diego, late Wednesday evening, September 13, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 11:07 p.m. between California Street and Grape Street.

The victim was reportedly struck by a train heading southbound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later declared dead.

The victim’s identity has yet to be released, while the authorities are currently investigating the fatal collision.
