[09-12-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Two Men Injured in Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer in Victorville

Two men sustained injuries after a Chevrolet Monte Carlo collided with a tractor-trailer in Victorville on Saturday afternoon, September 12, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was reported at around 3:21 p.m. on Seventh Avenue between Nisqualli Road and Sitting Bull Street.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was traveling north on Seventh Avenue at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center median into southbound traffic and collided with a trailer being pulled by a 2015 Kenworth tractor truck.

Both men inside the Monte Carlo were transported to a local hospital. The driver suffered major injuries and was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters before being transferred to a trauma center for further treatment.

The tractor-trailer driver stopped after the collision, remained at the scene, and cooperated with investigators. 

Authorities said it was not immediately known whether alcohol was a factor. The investigation remains ongoing.
