A person was killed after being struck by a vehicle near a freeway off-ramp on the outskirts of downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning, September 12, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway at the Alameda Street off-ramp.
The CHP described the vehicle involved as a green Toyota Sienna. No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident were immediately available.
