[09-12-2026] Contra Costa County, CA – 63-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Antioch

A 63-year-old woman suffered major injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Antioch on Saturday night, September 12, 2026.

According to the Antioch Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 9:57 p.m. at 801 Sunset Drive.

Authorities found the woman with major injuries to her arms and legs. The woman was airlifted to a trauma center for medical treatment. No additional information about her condition was immediately available.

Police said the vehicle suspected of striking the woman left the scene before officers arrived.
