[09-12-2026] Contra Costa County, CA – 54-Year-Old Man Severely Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Antioch

A 54-year-old man suffered severe leg injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Antioch on Saturday evening, September 12, 2026.

According to the Antioch Police Department, the incident was reported at around 6:50 p.m. near East 18th Street and Phillips Lane.

The man was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment. No additional information about his condition was immediately available.

Police said the driver fled the scene following the collision. Witnesses described the vehicle as a dark gray sedan.
