[09-12-2023] Sacramento County, CA – Two Injured After Vehicle Crashes Through Building in Sacramento

Two people were injured following a vehicle that crashed into a building in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, September 12, 2023.

Officials from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District were dispatched to the scene of the collision around 7:00 p.m. along the 2400 block of Marconi Avenue.

Authorities stated that for unknown reasons, the vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle and drove right through the building at Marconi Avenue. The vehicle only stopped when it struck a second parked vehicle.

Officials said the vehicle’s driver and passenger were transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The reason for the crash is still unknown and is currently being investigated by the authorities.
