A four-vehicle collision sent two people to Cottage Hospital with minor injuries at the intersection of Hollister Avenue and Village Way in Santa Barbara on Thursday morning, September 11, 2025.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash was reported around 11:03 a.m. A man and a woman were each transported in separate ambulances for treatment.
Westbound lanes of Hollister Avenue were temporarily blocked while emergency crews responded and cleared the scene. Personnel from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol also assisted, and a sheriff’s deputy directed traffic following the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
