A motorcyclist sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Mountain View neighborhood of San Diego on Thursday morning, September 11, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:17 a.m. in the 1400 block of South 43rd Street.
A 43-year-old man riding a purple Harley Davidson veered from the northbound number two lane into the number one lane when a vehicle overtook him from behind, passed on the left, and moved right, colliding with the motorcycle and causing the rider to fall.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with a fractured right clavicle and abrasions to his right elbow. He described the other vehicle involved as a dark-colored sedan.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
