According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported shortly after 7:00 a.m. A Honda Civic collided with a Nissan Altima, which then struck a Chevy Traverse.

Imperial Irrigation District employees assisted with traffic control until the roadway was cleared. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
