[09-11-2023] Pedestrian Woman Killed Following Vehicle Collision in OakdaleA pedestrian woman was killed after she was struck by a vehicle in Oakdale on Monday night, September 11, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was crossing the street when a Cadillac hit her around 9:20 p.m. on Highway 108 east of Odessa Way.

The victim was discovered between the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway in a two-way left turn lane, while the Cadillac was stationary in the eastbound lanes of the same highway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
