[09-10-2024] Bicyclist Killed in Collision with Vehicle near I-680 Ramp in San JoseA bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle near a ramp to northbound Interstate 680 in San Jose on Tuesday morning, September 10, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 11:40 a.m. near the Capitol Expressway on-ramp to northbound Highway 680.

The bicyclist was taken to a hospital but succumbed to their injuries, while the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. 

Authorities said impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the collision.
