[09-07-2026] Riverside County, CA – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on SR-243 in Idyllwild

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on State Route 243 in Idyllwild, Riverside County, on Monday morning, September 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 10:22 a.m. near North Circle Drive.

CHP traffic logs identified the vehicle involved as a blue Mazda SUV. CAL FIRE was notified and dispatched to the scene to provide emergency medical assistance. Information regarding the pedestrian’s condition was not immediately available.
