[09-07-2026] Marin County, CA – Five Workers Injured in Scaffolding Collapse at Summit Skywalker Ranch

Five men were injured after scaffolding and display screens collapsed during event setup at Summit Skywalker Ranch in Marin County on Monday morning, September 7, 2026.

Emergency crews responded around 11:23 a.m. to the property at 3838 Lucas Valley Road after receiving an initial report that three people were trapped beneath a stage.

Officials said scaffolding and display screens collapsed in the upper campus area while the site was being prepared for an event. Three of the five injured men were transported to local hospitals. One suffered a serious head injury and was transported for emergency treatment.

Another person became trapped beneath LCD screens. Firefighters used airbags to lift the collapsed structure and free the individual, who was treated at the scene and released.

The cause of the collapse was not immediately known.
