According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident was reported around 6:19 a.m. when an off-duty firefighter discovered the victim lying in the roadway. 

Units arrived within minutes and transported the unidentified patient to a local hospital at approximately 7:08 a.m. The victim’s condition and the extent of their injuries were not immediately released.

Authorities reported no suspect descriptions or arrests as of 10:40 a.m. Footage from the scene showed the intersection cordoned off with caution tape, and a black pickup truck was seen being towed. A large law enforcement presence remained at the scene while investigators worked.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
