A pedestrian was killed after a train collision in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Thursday night, September 7, 2023.
The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the incident involving a pedestrian and a train on the 12800 block of North San Fernando Road at Bledsoe before 10:30 p.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters located the pedestrian but concluded they were beyond medical assistance. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are underway by the LAPD to find out what caused the collision. Anyone with information related to the crash should contact the police immediately.
