[09-07-2023] Two Riders Injured Following Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Collision in MartinezTwo riders were injured after their motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Martinez on Thursday morning, September 7, 2023.

According to the report, the incident occurred at the intersection of Pacheco Boulevard and Vine Avenue, near Howe Road, around 11:12 a.m.

A black Harley Davidson Bagger was traveling south on Pacheco towards Howe when a vehicle did not yield the right-of-way and made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, destroying the bike with the front wheel collapsing into the engine.

Both the motorcyclist and the passenger suffered serious injuries in the accident. It is unknown if the driver was also injured in the collision.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved, pending an investigation.
