What To Do After A Motorcycle Accident
The injured victim or the family of a killed rider probably went through a lot of stress after a motorcycle accident. However, some steps must be followed to secure the highest compensation for you or your loved one. It is recommended that you do the following:
- Report the accident to the police so that there will be an official record. This will be a vital evidence for your claim.
- Collect the contact information of everyone involved in the fatal collision, including the witnesses.
- Organize all accident-related documents and information in a folder. These will be reviewed by the insurer when making a claim.
- Seek legal counsel from an experienced California motorcycle accident lawyer if your loved one has been wrongfully killed. The earlier you consult with a lawyer, the better.
