According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 7:38 a.m. on Daphne Street near Pine Street.

Authorities stated that a vehicle struck the two pedestrians, resulting in unknown injuries. They were taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

While the vehicle is still at the scene, it is unclear whether the driver remained or fled. Officials did not disclose the identity details of the people involved.

There is still an investigation underway to determine what caused the crash.
