[09-06-2023] Alameda County, CA – 55-Year-Old Male Bicyclist Killed Following Hit-and-Run Collision in Hayward

A 55-year-old male bicyclist was killed after a hit-and-run collision in Hayward on Wednesday afternoon, September 6, 2023.

Officers from the Hayward Police Department responded to the traffic collision at the Mission Boulevard and Orchard Avenue intersection around 5:36 p.m.

When HPD officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the bicyclist was injured and unable to respond. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.
